claire pool- sense of place

This photo was taken by Vivian Maier, an American street photographer. I couldn’t find much on this picture, but I have some thoughts on it. This photo was taken in Chicago in the 1970s. I think this photo shows what it was like to be in Chicago in the 70s because of the kindness shown between the older man and Asian girl. Chicago is a city of many ethnicities and races, and I think this photo displays that well.
So I took this photo when I went to Israel in January 2019. This picture was taken in the Mizpe Ramon, which is one of Israel’s national parks. This one is located in the South. I think this picture shows how quiet and peaceful the south of Israel is. The sunset was special because this was our first full day in Israel and we hadn’t even seen a portion of God’s land here, but this was one of the first of many sunsets we got to see.
